Dozens of people with congenital deformities, cleft lip, burns, and other afflictions were evaluated for surgical operations, during a day organized by the Renacer Foundation and the Medical Aid for the Children of Latin America (Macla).

The streets of the recently inaugurated Padre Billini Hospital, reconstructed and equipped by IBT Group, were filled with people seeking an evaluation from Dominican and North American doctors.

The program seeks to operate more than 250 people, of which the Renacer foundation will give a complete treatment and follow up.  The program is staffed by 75 doctors and nurses of the Medical Aid for the Children of Latin America Foundation, as well as 200 doctors and nurses from throughout the country.
