President Leonel inaugurates two hospitals at the City of Health in Charles de Gaulle

President Leonel Fernandez headed two acts of inauguration for the new maternity and pediatric hospitals at the City of Health in Charles de Gaulle, adding more than 400 beds to the national health system.

The hospitals were built by Carimex, part of IBT Group, with an investment of more than $110 million dollars.

At the act, the Minister of Public Health, Bautista Rojas Gomez, informed that the pediatric hospital includes 12000 square meter and includes 200 beds, specialized emergency care for children, burn unit, transplant unit, and more.

Meanwhile, the maternity hospital will have a capacity of 217 beds, neonatal, delivery, and nebulizer spaces, among other services.
